Paul Bryant
Bio
Edit BioPaul grew up on Lake Wilcox near the Richmond Canoe Club. He got his start in paddling when his parents sent him to the club to get him out of the house. He took to the sport and is now working towards realizing his dream of competing at the Olympic Games.
In 2005 Paul competed at the 2005 Junior World Championships in Hungary, just falling short of the podium with a 4th place finish in the C-1 1000m event. In 2007 he won bronze in the C-2 1000m event at the Canadian Sprint CanoeKayak Championships in Ottawa.
Paul is currently studying Political Science at Ryerson University. He names his older brother Ian as his key role model.
His coach is Igor Nikitovic.
