Alexandra McGee
Bio
Edit BioAlexandra has been paddling whitewater since she was about 8 years old recreationally with her family and friends. In 2008, Alexandra joined the Ottawa River Runners and started to train part-time in the development program under the coaching of James Cartwright for canoe slalom. Since fall 2009, she started training and paddling full-time in the high-performance program for with the Ottawa River Runners. In 2010, her last year as a junior team member, she competed at the Jr. World Champoinships in Foix, France and she was also ranked Jr. National Champion. In 2011 Alexandra made senior national team and got the opportunity to compete at all four 2011 World Cups and the Sr. World Championships. She is now being coached by Michal Staniszewski.
