Freestyle kayaking is the exciting dynamic deviation of whitewater kayaking where the paddler performs a range of acrobatic tricks and manoeuvres on a river feature (artifical or natural) such as a wave or hole. The discipline is enjoyed by many as a recreational sport and at the top level by those participating in competitions both nationally and internationally. The sport is constantly moving forward with paddlers developing new spectacular moves.

Providing support for our National Freestyle Team and developing the competitive freestyle sport within Canada is our mandate.
The Canadian Freestyle Committee is in the process of redevelopment. The coming weeks are critical in this process.
