Duisburg to host the 2013 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships - September 11th, 2012

The ICF has awarded the German Canoe Federation and the City of Duisburg, the right to host the 2013 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships. This decision was made after the Brazil Canoe Confederation informed the ICF that local authorities would not begin to upgrade the course until 2014 when preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will begin.
